As of the most recent available statistics, entry into the B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course at Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology & Research (Deemed to be University) is largely determined by performance in entrance tests like the AP EAMCET. No, graduates from Diploma in Agriculture Engineering cannot gain direct entry to B.Tech CSE based on Andhra Pradesh ECET (AP ECET). Andhra Pradesh ECET admits Diploma holders on a lateral basis (second year direct admission) into B.Tech courses but only up to related branches of engineering.

Having an Andhra Pradesh EAMCET 2024 rank of 45,807 and coming under the category of BC-B, it will be tough to get admission to a B.Tech in CSE in premium engineering colleges of Andhra Pradesh since CSE is extremely competitive with greater cutoff ranks.
