The eligibility criteria for admission in Bachelor of Technology in computer Science and engineering  at Amity University, Ranchi is 10+2 with a minimum of 55 percent from a recognized board/Institution or the student must have participated in Amity Joint Engineering Entrance.

Amity University, Ranchi, starts its admission process with the release of the application forms. Every year, the university's application window opens in Jan/ Feb. Further, candidates willing to apply through JEE Main/ CUET UG scores must separately apply for the entrance exams through their respective official websites. 

Candidates scoring over 90 percentile in JEE Main are eligible for a scholarship of up to 100% while during the first year of BTech at Amity University, Ranchi. Candidates willing to secure BTech admission at Amity Ranchi must undergo a multi-step admission process. The first step is to submit a duly filled application form either in online or offline mode. Based on the received applications, applicants who fulfil the preset eligibility criteria are called for the selection rounds.

The selection rounds conducted by the university include an English language test, followed by GD/ Extempore/ Personal interview. A programme-based written test/ creative/ physical test may also be conducted (if required). Selected candidates must submit the prescribed fees for seat confirmation.
