Hi Joy,
DBA is a good option if you want to enter the database field. Almost every company handles huge amount of data and this makes database management, a very lucrative career.
Database security is also a major issue with the firms handling confidential information like banks etc. Hence the job opportunities are also huge in the database field

There are lot of IT companies for which you can work as a developer, tester or a design engineer. You can also explore different programming languages and work for the one in which you have the maximum interest

Shurti, After doing Btech, You have lots of options. You can go for IT company, You can try your luck in Teaching. You can go for govt jobs. But what matter is from where you are studying. Is that university or college is reputed or not.

A database administrator is a person responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrade, administration, monitoring and maintenance of databases in an organization.

Pankaj, I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you must pick up Programming and take a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants. So choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money.
