Basically, you have three ways to get in. The most common route is the Q-CARE exam, which is their own entrance test; it's definitely worth taking because it's the primary way they hand out scholarships. If you don't want to take another test, they also accept JEE Main or CUET scores. For those who performed really well in high school, there's a direct admission option based on your Class 12 marks. Once you fill out the online form and get a provisional offer, you just have to verify your documents and pay the fee to lock in your seat.

UPCATET is a mandatory exam for students who wish to get admission to government agriculture universities in Uttar Pradesh.

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at MSRUAS (Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences) is considered a good option for B.Tech, offering strong academic programs, experienced faculty, and research opportunities. It is a private university, distinct from the autonomous MSRIT, but part of the same reputed educational group. It offers above-average placements with decent packages for engineering branches.

The average package offered during MAIET placements 2025 is yet to be published on the official website. The students of MAIET have shared their reviews on the Shiksha College review page. According to their reviews, the average package offered during recent placements was INR 3 LPA.

Maharishi Arvind Institute of Engineering and Technology conduct placement drive annually to its BTech students. There are no official stats availabe. According to the students' reviews on the Shiksha page, the highest and average package offered during the recent MAIET placements stood at INR 5 LPA and INR 3 LPA, respectively. Only 20% to 30% students placed annually.

For GITAM School of Technology, Visakhapatnam (B.Tech) the total tuition fee for the 4-year course is about ₹12.22 – ₹16.47 lakhs, depending on the branch you choose (e.g., CSE is around ₹16.47 L for the entire duration). Yearly it's roughly ₹3.8 – ₹4.4 Lacs for CSE.
