Either you need to apply for NCHM entrance for IHMs or you need to apply differently for respective hotel management universities.

Dear Friend,
Can you please elaborate, what does your question mean. 'Chief' meanswhat? In which sector do you want to be 'Chief"? If I am not wrong, I think you want to ask about 'Chief" I.e. a professional cook, typically the chief cook in a restaurant or hotel. So for this, you have to do Hotel Management.
Best wishes!

I would suggest you to either do a Diploma soon after 10th or consider completing 10+2 and then a Bachelor's degree in hotel and hospitality management. In the mean time, since your interest is very clear, you could consider taking up short courses and hands-on experience in baking. Prepare well for the entrance exams, interview and group discussion if you are planning the Bachelors in hotel management.

There are a number of options available for those wanting a career as a chef, and these include the following -
1. The best choice would be a course in hotel management from a reputed hotel management institute in India.
2. There are approximately 20 government-run institutes across the country, which offer the right infrastructure and faculty and are registered under (NCHM) National Council of Hotel Management
3. A number of hotel chains also run institutions that conduct courses in hotel management
4. Students can also enrol in private institutions that are endorsed by the (AICTE), All India Council for Technical Education and
