BIMS Bangalore MBA seat allotment is done based on merit in accepted exam and performance in selection rounds. The institute has a seat capacity of over 100 for the MBA programmes. Candidates are admitted in accordance with the sanctioned seat intake. Aspirants are further informed that the mentioned seat intake is as per the official website/sanctioning body. After the application submission, the institute shortlist them based on eligibility and score in the accepted examination. These shortlisted candidates have to further participate in the group discussion and personal interview round conducted by Bangalore Institute of Management Studies. Following these selection rounds, the final seat allotment is done.

Bangalore Institute of Management Studies MBA admission is entrance-based. Candidates can apply with a valid score of KMAT/Karnataka PGCET/MAT/CAT/CMAT. The institute shortlist applications based on exam score and invite them for group discussion and personal interview round. To be eligible for PG course, a valid bachelor's degree is required with at least 50% aggregate (As per unofficial sources). Eligible candidates can apply through the institutes' official website.
