The educational facilities of Brown Mackie College along with Mt Sierra College still maintain closure status through 2024. The decrease in student enrollment led Brown Mackie College to shut down its campuses starting from 2016.
Mt Sierra College stopped operations in June 2019 because severe financial issues engulfed the institution.
The educational opportunity to obtain a BBA has become unavailable at these institutions.

Manukau Institute of Technology is a leader in technical and vocational education. However, it does not offer many specialisation options under the BBA programme. Whereas Ara Institute of Canterbury offers a BBA programme across several specialisations such as event management, Personal Financial Planning, Project Management, Hospitality Management, Retail Management, Sport Management, Supply Chain Logistics, Operations and Production Management among others. A majority of the US universities offering BBA course are located in California and New York. Above 60 BBA Universities in USA are located in California and New York respectively. Some of the universities located in California are Stanford University, University of California – Berkeley Campus, University of Southern California, University of San Francisco.
