One the bachelor degree in Commerce and the other one in Business Administration. Ideally, the courses should be 50% different but in most Indian universities they are confusingly hybrid of each other.
Indian students must consider moving towards the best to live and work countries which are not western countries.
Why most students follow the conventional path of studying in India or in the west? Why Indian students are obsessed with the west? Is it the 200 years of colonial mindset? Most of them struggle to survive in the west and work for peanuts in India. So called 'average' and below 'average' students (although it is judged by marks to which I personally don't subscribe to) must look at countries like Bahrain and UAE for their destination for bachelor and masters degrees because the GCC region still the best for job opportunities, offering excellent tax free salaries, and most safe and secured high standard of living that one cannot expect in the west unless they are immensely gifted and possessing extra-ordinarily talented.

BBA:
A BBA gets you entry-level positions in many corporations and factories. You would do lot of backend work, and provide support services to your seniors. Exceptional candidates could expect to do some customer interface, though it is very rare. Also invariably, you would hit the glass ceiling very fast, and would require an MBA to move up the ladder. Since the degree will equip a student of BBA with the basic knowledge about corporate management and skills it will help them understand the diverse functioning of a company. BBA graduates can look for jobs in sales and marketing department of companies as members of sales teams or as management trainees.
BCA:
Being a growing field, there are a lot of opportunities available for a person pursuing MCA or BCA. It is advisable to take work experience after doing BCA and then enroll for MCA as scope for a good position broadens if a person has relevant work experience along with the necessary skill sets. The courses focus on making the student familiar with technical languages at the bachelor's level and taking a specialization at the master's level. After pursuing the necessary educational qualification a person can seek job opportunity in the field of software developer, web designer, systems management, etc.
BHMCT:
Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology is an undergraduate course, which can be completed with 4 year time duration. The 4-year course study is further divided in to 8 successive semesters of 6 month each. This professional course, emphases adequate working knowledge and skills in candidate to do well in hospitality sector.
The students are also exposed to various domains such as Food Production and Nutrition, House Keeping Operations, Beverage Services, HRM, Front Office Operations, and so on. Apart from working in such domains, the course study offers adequate entrepreneurship skills in the candidate to start up their own ventures. The course provides talent and skills in candidate to do well in service sector, and to build up good career prospects in future.

No Rahul, in my opinion it will might not prove to be good if your objective is to crack the UPSC exam. The reason is that while doing BBA you will be exposed to limited opportunities for all round studies. You will be focussed on management subjects and problem solving methods or may be just touching the outlines of other subjects. Where-as for IAS you need to have all-round knowledge. You cannot proceed further for IAS postion unless you clear the prelims of UPSC exam. To crack the prelims you need to have good knowledge of current affairs, should be having good general knowledge and a sense of logic to select the best answer out of the alternatives available with the questions. Those alternatives are extremely close in nature and they would all seem correct for the person writing the exam. To choose the best answer you need to have that flair & sense of logic, or complete knowledge of the concerned topic. While studying BBA you might not have opportunity for learning all this in required details. With subjects in humanities stream or with science subjects you will find more opportunities during your graduation to prepare for UPSC exam. So think again Rahul.
