Yes, you can pursue a BSc or a B.Tech in Biotechnology without Biology in Class 12. If you had PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) in Class 12 and not Biology, you can still opt for Biotechnology in the UG program.

Well it depends on the colleges and university, whether they want Biology as a mandatory subject in their admission criteria, but generally it is not mandatory for BTech courses.

The latest cutoff for the B.Sc. (Hons.) The biology program at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) for 2024 is based on the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) scores. For the general category, the expected CUET cutoff score is above 345. For other categories, such as EWS and OBC, it is approximately 298 and 307, respectively.
