India is slowly becoming Biotechnology outsourcing hub. Lots of multinational companies are outsourcing Research and Development work in Biotechnology to Indian firms. Most of the jobs in Biotechnology are research-based and most bio technologists are employed in research and development departments of institutions and industries involved in biotechnological work. Most of Biotechnology Science graduates are employed in R&D work. Therefore M.Tech Biotechnology graduates have good scope in R&D units.
