In the year 2023, Computer Science And Engineering branch received the highest number of placements. The highest package was recorded at 58 Lacs per annum and the average package was of 6-6.7 Lacs per annum. But now there is an increase in placement opportunitites of Specialization Courses in Cybesecurity, AI/ML and many more. So students should take admission in specialisation branches of B.Tech.

At IIST, campus placements are a strong point, with between 90-95% of students receiving placements. Additionally, some talented students have chances off campus. For B.Tech, FIET Bareilly is much best than RBMI Grop of Institutes. RBMI group has the highest package of 7 Lacs per annum with companies like Airtel, Genpact, Infosys, Wipro etc. whereas the average package offered ranges between 3 Lacs per annum. FIET is onsidered as the best institute for B.Tech because it has good campus infrastructure, great placement support and industry oriented curriculum . The institute also provides good industrial training to the students .

The latest expected cutoff for B Tech is 65-70 marks out of 300 in JEECUP. Also students need to have scored above 75% in their Class 12th examinations . So it is not really very difficult to get into this prestigious institute. The expected closing rank is above 900000+
