When it comes to choosing between B.Tech entrance exam and direct admission, it completely depends on the requirement of the candidate. If you are not sure of securing admission in top B,Tech college and branch with your entrance exam rank or score, it is advisable to go for direct admission.
However, direct admission in B.Tech is possible only in private colleges or deemed universities. You cant get direct admission in government engineering colleges as the admissions in these colleges are based on the rules and regulations fixed by the state government. Hello Priyanka!
Yes, you can opt for MBA with any specialization provided by the institution you choose. Many of the colleges, offer aspirants to qualify their own entrance examinations. In short, you can get seat for MBA without CAT, MAT or GMAT but you have to participate in institution based entrance exam. If this answer helped you, then UPVOTE to help others.

Hi, I can understand your apprehension and angst why you are studying in 12th standard. But let me assure you that the marks in the 12th standard are not the criteria for getting admission for BTech in any discipline. For IIT one needs to score minimum 75% off marks in the 12th board. After this the students performance in JEE Mains will enable him to appear for JEE advanced and the performance in JEE advanced would only enable the student to get admission in any one of the IIT's. My sincere advice to you would be not to look for marks in the 12th examination but lay more emphasis on learning the concepts that the teachers will try to
