Each of these programmes deals with management and business administration concepts. While the nomenclature varies from programme to programme, the core subjects and curriculum remain the same.

The major difference between these programmes is that while MMS and MBA are degree programmes, PGDM or Post Graduate Diploma in Management is a Diploma programme. The MMS and MBA programmes are offered by universities and are affiliated with the University Grants Commission (UGC). The Master of Management Studies (MMS) is a two-year postgraduate study that contains four semesters. Individuals can explore the world of management through this course. In order to get admission to the MMS course, a student needs to fulfill at least the below-mentioned criteria:

  • A candidate must have passed their graduation in any discipline.
  • A candidate needs to have scored at least a 50 percent score in graduation.
