Hi Harika, The best way to go ahead is by first checking the university admission deadline, without having any target or goal you should't fix any test dates. You have to first know if universities will accept applications so late because usually you have to apply by November or December of the previous year. Please visit the university websites first and check the deadlines.

Hi Abhishek Taneja,
An important point to know here, medical studies in Canada can be done only after completing a Bachelor's degree. First and foremost, you need to apply for a BS degree in a relevant field such as biological sciences which would be of four years, after completing your degree you have to clear the Medical College Admissions Test and apply to a medical school. Now, most medical schools do not admit international students so studying medical in Canada is a tough and difficult choice. Please check university websites in Canada and find out the requirements and check the international student requirement. Typically maths

Hi Neel Patel,
Yes, they will accept Gujarat State Board results, it is a state education board and recognised by universities abroad. You need not worry on that front since foreign universities outside India are aware of Indian education system. However if they require some additional assessment they will let you know. To get accepted by a Canadian universities and to get a visa you have to meet the admission requirements, have the require percentile, have an IELTS score and have a good profile overall.

Colleges in India follow same pattern for admission. Either PCB or PCM percentage in aggregate is considered generally. It depends on choice of field you want to take up further. Foreign colleges, add up English language too.

Hi Krishnakant,
You have to first find out colleges have January intake, it's not a very common one. Not every course or college will have a January intake. Check the deadlines and apply accordingly. It is important to follow the timelines mentioned on the college websites.

Hi Mariarani,
To apply for a student visa, you have to first apply to n university for a relevant programme and be accepted by them, you would need the admission offer letter to be eligible for the visa process. Firstly, please select a course of your interest and choice, check the admission requirements, the admission deadlines of the colleges you wish to apply and other requirements like personal statements and recommendation letters, etc. Your marks are extremely important if you desire to study in a competitive country like Canada.

Hi Jainish,
If your ultimate goal is to obtain a PR then you should target Canada or Australia. Not that obtaining a PR is easy but they have good and flexible options for international students as compared to USA. You should keep yourself updated with some global news to know the latest immigration policies in the countries of your choice, I will infact also ask you to contact an immigration agent who can show you stats and career outcomes of international applicants. Just for your knowledge, the pharma industry is huge in Canada.
