There is no comparison between these countries. Canada is a well established study abroad country while Ireland is not conventional choice. Canada is a top choice for MBA, admissions are also challenging. If you want a less challenging admission process and less expensive Ireland is a better choice.

You are already doing your PGDM. Why do you want to appear for cat again?
But to answer your question, you can give your CAT again. But, you need to quit the college. If your tenure is done, you can just apply for CAT but you cannot clear it.
I think you should continue doing your PGDM in marketing, and then go for placements. Doing your CAT again is no worth of money. But, if you seriously want to give CAT again study well and then appear for CAT and quit your existing college and go for IIMS. Else, it is just a waste of money and your whole one year.

Hi Kirandeep,
Canada's top universities are University of British Columbia, University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, University of Alberta, York University, McGill University and many more. The exact university suggestion can be given if you can specify your marks, etc. These are very competitive universities overall and gaining MS admissions in Canadian university is very difficult.

It depends on which semester, you wish to apply to0. If you wish to join fall semester (August/September), you can apply as early as November of the previous year. For the spring semester (Jan/Feb), you can start applying 7-8 months prior to the commencement of the course. Remember, for some universities, the earlier you apply better will be your chances to get admission.

Hi Agja Umang, ask your friend what he wants to do with his career on a long term basis. Since he has M.Sc. Degree, applying for a second Masteru2019s degree won't be easy. Ask him to check this list and help him figure out his interests. https://studyabroad.shiksha.com/ms-in-abroad-dc11509.

Hello Noida, I assume you have started working only this year, so you have just a couple months of work experience. Top business school require at least 2 years of professional experience. You must also have a GMAT score. Plus, many universities prefer a four year degree. Couple of mediocre business school do exist, but I would't suggest. Build your profile and apply in the better business schools such as university of British Columbia, University of Toronto, York University, Western University to name a few.

Hi Alka, I think you are in a pretty okay position. Your class 12th percentile is alright. But, you managed to get a better rank in B.Tech. You can apply for coursework based MS. There is another variant of MS which is research based, and will be very competitive, international students hardly get through.
