The Union Public Service Commission has not stated any minimum qualifying marks for the UPSC CAPF AC exam. The qualifying marks are the UPSC CAPF cut off marks which are released along with the results. There is minimum qualifying marks or cutoff marks in each Paper of the UPSC CAPF exam and these are fixed by the Commission in their discretion.

No, the CAPF Paper 2 is not qualifying in nature. Candidates need to get into the merit list to get shortlisted for appointment based on their scores in UPSC CAPF Paper 2. The CAPF Paper 1 is qualifying. The CAPF Paper 1 is evaluated first and the evaluation of Paper 2 is done only of those candidates who manage to obtain minimum qualifying marks in Paper 1. Candidates need to obtain the CAPF cut off marks to get shortlisted for next round, PET/ PST.

The selection process for the UPSC CAPF involves three stages- written exam, PET/ PST and Interview/ Personality Test round. Candidates who clear all the three stages are shortlisted for appointment in the CAPFs. The final selection and allocation of forces in the UPSC CAPF exam will be done based on the merit of candidates in the written exam and preferences of forces submitted in the CAPF application form. The PET/ PST and Interview rounds are qualifying in nature.

No, a Class 12 pass candidate cannot apply for the UPSC CAPF exam. To appear for the UPSC CAPF (AC) exam, candidates should have a Bachelors degree from any recognised university. Moreover, candidates appearing in the final year of graduation can also apply for the exam but these candidates need to produce the final year mark sheet of graduation along the detailed application form. at the time of document verification.

The UPSC CAPF eligibility states:
- Candidates must citizen of India or subject of Nepal and Bhutan.
- The minimum age limit is 20 years and upper age limit is 25 years.
- Candidate must hold a Bachelors degree from any recognised university

The Odisha Government established a 3% reservation of total seats in its government engineering colleges for the children of Central Armed Police Forces personnel. No, you are not eligible for the CAPF quota for MBBS in West Bengal 2024 if you are a retired CRPF person residing in AP:
The CAPF quota for MBBS is only available to wards, widows, or wives of defense personnel from the Army, Navy, or Air Force.
Wards of civilians or civilians working in AFHQ/MoD, DRDO, or wards of personnel from Para Military/CAPF are not eligible.
The facility is only available to one member of the family once in a lifetime.
To register for the CAPF quota, you must select "YES" when asked if you belong to the CRPF/BSF category.

The UPSC CAPF written exam will be conducted on 3rd of August in the year 2025. The exam will be conducted on the same day offline at the designated centres only.
