Town planning is also called as urban planning. It's really a good career to pursue. The educational requirements to become an urban planner can vary from employer to employer. Typically, the minimum requirement to get an entry-level job in urban planning is a Bachelor's degree in urban planning or a related degree such as geography, economics, political science, engineering or environmental studies.
After having done with the degrees of urban planning, you not need to worry much about the job as you'll have huge chances for it.

Your major work profile will be of developing the park in a sustainable way. Redesigning the street structures, creating energy efficient and affordable homes (generally by using the solar power). M.Planning is a post graduate degree programme in planning which is a 2-year course. The opportunities available for M.Plan graduates are more higher than a B.Plan. They can also get paid more. Bachelor in Mass Communication is the Foundation Degree in India because our Schools do not have this domain as a Specialisation. Media Studies or some other related subject is just part of the curriculum of Humanities and Arts in Senior Secondary and doesn't have major role. Hence, B.A. Remains a less preferred degree for getting a job quickly.
Having said this, I must clarify that B.A. Mass Communication is a good option to make a career in Media. After all, one has to somewhere start learning where the career is to be taken. B.A. Mass Communication done from average institutions in India doesn't lead to a good career possibility UNLE

You are already pursuing a Master's degree which already make you a leader. According to me, instead of taking parallel courses, you should look forward to gain some internship training, which will nourish your CV and will make you excel in the interviews. Yes having an extra course during Bachelors could have helped you, because you were supposed to choose your career, but when you have already decided that and following the same route then these certificates won't be beneficial.
