CS has become very lucrative and remunerative and with the implementation of the companies act 2013. The scope has widened for a company secretary as a professional.
A company secretary can do practice, or get appointed as a key managerial person. A company secretary is also known as compliance manager as he/she is the one with an overall and all round knowledge of various laws applicable in the industries.
So, it is noteworthy that along with the enhancement in scope, work and remuneration wise, responsibility and accountability is also increased.

If you like coding, kindly start working in that field. Also, you can pursue MS after that. But if you want to do MBA, see what stream looks good for you. In the first year, most of the colleges are having common subjects. It's only in the second year that you get to choose. The trend is engineers usually opt for operations. But it depends on each one's personal interest and what you are interested in.
