The Bachelor's degree in Textile Technology is itself a full-fledged programme of 4 years duration. It is a discipline of engineering that deals with the production and manufacturing of the textiles. Although the programme covers every aspect of the textile manufacturing process, one can take up some short-term course alongside the Bachelor's programme to upgrade one's own skills. 1. Since computers are important in every field and textiles are also designed digitally now-a-days, you can opt for a course in CAD for textile. It is a 6-month part-time course by NIFT and can be availed in all its branches.
2. A candidate from textile technology can totally get into manufacturing and merchandising as well and own a business of textiles. Hence, it will be a good option to take up a parallel course in apparel merchandising or apparel production management.

You do not have to pursue any additional course along with Bachelors in Visual Arts. Fine Arts is, theoretically at least, a broad category. However, in order to use it for anything except painting, sculpting or working as a consultant or in an art gallery or museum, then you would probably have to add some other kinds of courses, or even degrees. In fact, even to work at a high level in a museum requires further study in that field.
