A cabin crew job is not about giving and clearing trays in the cabin, at 45000 feet from ground. Here you deal with safety first, which is the utmost importance for any airline. The main purpose of cabin crew present on board is safety of passengers. The other service aspect are followed after that. A cabin crew is trained for tackling emergency situation on board aircraft be it fire on board.

If they have an all-female cabin crew instead of a mixed cabin crew. The reason for this is that a female cabin crew would weigh on an average 20 kilos lighter than a male cabin crew and as a result, would save on fuel consumption in the long run. As a result, many cash-strapped no-frills budget airlines in India such as Indigo Airlines, Go Air, Spice JET and Air Asia only hire female cabin crew. This helps them save a huge amount of money in the long run. . Since it requires a lot of physical and mental stability, one gives more attention towards their fitness, You have to be fit to perform your duties, every day. One has to plan it's timetable to adjust with these working hours. Plan your sleep accordingly so that you are not fatigued at the end. There are various options available after this course. You may get the job in insurance related field, finance, banking, Indian economics services, stock markets and other related fields. Initial average salary for freshers may vary from 15000 (approximately). For making your background more stronger, you may pursue Masters further or may also go for Ph.D.
