First you have to appear in UGC NET exam, State level eligibility test (SLET) is another option. Initially you will be appointed as Asst. Professor and than promoted to Associate Professor, To become as Professor you further need to first complete yours Ph.D.

Very few Indian students pursue Pharmacy to become a pharmacist and tend to go to industry/academia instead. After a Pharma. D you can work as a clinical pharmacist, preferably at a hospital.
