You need to earn a Bachelor's degree in sociology, psychology or criminal justice. Coursework can be related to law, police Science and statistics. Gain some experience. An undergraduate degree may be sufficient for entry-level positions. Forensic scientists look at the evidence keeping certain scientific rules and principles in mind.
