I don't think anyone can tell you with 100% surety which university will give you the admission. This depends on the university, your marks are alright except class 12 and the universities you applied are also good ones basis your profile. It also depends on your personal statement, what you wrote, how you wrote your SOP, how good the letters of recommendations were and your overall application package. You can just hope that atleast one of them gives you a call.

Your stream does not depend upon the percentage you got in 10. Rather it depends upon the interest you have to pursue. I advice you to just take that branch in which you are suitable and from you which you can achieve your aim in future. Every branch has it's own importance and have scope in their respective field. So don't take pressure that choosing a stream in your 11 or choosing your branch in your undergraduate programme affect your job opportunity. Don't think about job just after 10th. It's good that your thinking about your future but it's not the right time. Study hard to get a good college with good placement scenario so that you get a job just after your graduation.

Prepare for JEE Mains as IIST takes admission through JEE Mains rank. With that you need to qualify JEE Advanced to become eligible for IIST. Join some coaching or take a correspondence course as cutoffs of IIST are quite high and a thing here or there may cost you a seat you have enough time now to prepare for the exam. Just remember your goals and work for them.

Follow up your regular textbook. I am pretty sure if you do well you will be able to attempt and solve most of the questions in the exam, just try not to mug up the concepts, try to learn and understand them.

Repeat your 10th its not a shame, shame is not to try again give yourself a chance a give your effort this time and make this time count, never loose hope if you try and give your 100% you wouldbe off with flying colors this time. All the best.

You can get a job after completing Diploma but the job profile won't be quite good, it would be a low salary job so if you could try to continue your studies and increase your chances for a better job.
