No, it's not necessary that there will be a higher standard in MBA. Mostly, it depends on which college you are doing it from. You can go for M.Tech.

See, CAT is a major part to get any of the MBA colleges, but it is not the only criteria to get in. All calls include your academic background, gender diversity, academic diversity, and your work experience if you are a dropper. So, at first, you have to check out your all these criteria and you can directly use Shiksha call predictor by putting your academic information's here in Shiksha call predictor.
Rest you can also check on college websites they provide you with the ways of their selection process and even tell you about the cut-off marks.
All the best.
You have a good percentile, hope you get a good college.

Yes, you have chances of getting into tier 2 and tier 3 campus. But for a demanded campus like IIMs, the chances are less. The colleges in tier 2 and tier 3 are easily possibly easy to get. Some of the best campuses are as follows: Acharya, RVIM, MSRIM Adarsh, AIMIT, Community Institute of Management Studies, Alliance, Sambhram, Presidency, St. Johns, St. Aloysius, DC School of Management, Koshys Group of Institutions, SCMS, Marthoma, Hindustan, Sri Krishna, IBMR, IBS, ISME, IZEE. Best of luck!

That's okay. But still, you have to clear the entrance exam. JIMS wouldn't give direct admission.

Dear Paras!
Firstly congratulations on this wonderful score. Chances are very high that you may get a call from IIT Kanpur, Banaras or hardly Madras. Paras, since you have a zero work experience, it could be difficult for you to get a call from IIT-Bombay or Delhi. However, there is no harm in applying. You can check various rank predictor to get the basic rough idea of your selection. Just apply. I hope you can get IITs in Madras campus. Hope this helps. Good luck. With 94.3 percentile in CAT and good percentile in 10th, 12th and B.Tech, chances are very high for getting admission. IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Roorkee, IIT Bombay, etc. can be taken for consideration. These campuses will have a personal interview and group discussion. So, I would suggest you to go with the expectation. The placement and package will be very high after your course completion from IIT.

Hi Prabal,
You'd have to apply to FMS Delhi via its website, before CAT. The last date of the application has already passed.
It usually opens in Sept/Oct and lasts until a couple of weeks before CAT.
