Hello, chalapathi institute of engineering and technology or CIET as it is called is located between Guntur city and the future capital of Andhra Pradesh, Amravati. Chalapathi Education Society has established this engineering College. This has a campus of about 10 and half acres. Institute admits more than 1100 students for its under graduation courses and about 40 for post graduation courses. 70% of the seats for undergraduation engineering courses are filled up through EAMCET, the engineering entrance exam conducted by the state of Andhra Pradesh and balance 30% or filled up by the management quota. The quality of food in the hostel mess of Chalapathi Institute of Engineering and Technology is good. High-quality, healthy food is provided. The quality of the mess food is good and hygienic. They provide breakfast, tiffin, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner, which is very good. The staff takes students' feedback to ensure the quality, taste, and hygiene are maintained in the mess.

Yes, you can get admission to Chalapathi Institute of Engineering and Technology B.E. / B.Tech course without Andhra Pradesh EAMCET through the management Quota.
This institute provides 30% of his seats by the management Quota, for which you need to be qualified in the 12th with a well-known board, and you need more than 50% marks in your 12th examination with the PCM (physics, chemistry, math) stream and the EAMCET rank is optional for the management Quota.

The fees in the Chalapathi Institute of Engineering and Technology for convenor quota is 43000 per year and for the management quota the fees lies bw 43000 to 101000.
The convenor quota fees is fix (43000) but the management quota fees is depending on the programs.
Specific programme annual fees :
1.CSE: up to 130000/yr
2.ECE: 75000/yr
3.CSE (AI/ML/Cyber/DataScience): 80000–90000/yr

The eligiblity criteria for BE/B.Tech in Chalapathi Institute of Engineering and Technology is
candidates must have passed the 10+2 with a minimum of 45% (40% for reserved categories) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
The Admission for this institute may be based on the candidate's performance in entrance exams like JEE Main or Andhra Pradesh EAMCET.
Diploma holders are also eligible for lateral entry in 2nd year with Diploma and valid Andhra Pradesh ECET rank.

This institue also provides good placements offer to the student their placement rate is 60-70%. the average package of this college is 3-4LPA and the highest package is 8.5LPA. Leading recruiters include TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra etc.

The AP EAMCET exam is conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTU Kakinada). It is conducted for all colleges in Andhra Pradesh, not only for the Chalapathi Institute of Engineering and Technology. The results for admission in 2025 have already been declared on June 8, 2025.
