IIT Powai is the best Institute for Chemical engineering in Mumbai based on ranking by various rating agencies.

If you are interested in Chemical engineering, then you can go with IIT KGP. But, if you are more into electrical or coding, then opt for BITS, Pilani. Placements in EEE BITS Pilani are better than IIT KGP.

First of all, read about both the courses, choose the course that you really like. If you can contact the students who are already studying there, ask them about the college atmosphere. Don't worry about the scope of further opportunities, you can get a good job. All you need to do is read about the branches really well and find out which you like the most.

If you belong to OBC category then you have a good news but if you belong to open category then it will be difficult.
