To pursue MPC (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry) in intermediate after 10th grade, you need to do well in your 10th-grade exams especially in math and science. Maths is crucial subject when it came to pursuing B.Tech. Pursuing B.Tech without knowing fundamentals (taught in 11-12th standard) will be challenging.
