You must pass the IIT JAM (Joint Admission Test for M.Sc.) in order to be admitted to IITs for an M.Sc in Physics. IITs normally require applicants to obtain a Bachelors degree with physics as a major in order to be eligible. Your pursuit of a B.Sc in Physics with Chemistry and Botany at IGNOU qualifies you for general education requirements. Check to see if your IGNOU degree particularly with regard to curricular content, satisfies IIT's particular qualifying standards.

Although the precise cutoff dates for 2024 are not yet known, prior years show that admission to Gautam Buddha University (GBU) which provides an M.Sc. in Chemistry is mostly determined by entrance exam scores. The cutoff for general categories may vary depending on the competition that year.

The expected cutoff marks for the BSc Chemistry (Hons) admission in BHU will be as follows, for CUET 2024: 434 to 455 (out of max 600) marks for the Chemistry (Maths group) and 492 to 516 for Chemistry (Biology group). Your CUET score of 450 will probably be considered, depending on the group you apply under, and the final cutoff.

It depends on the college/department you are applying for. If your college/department calculates the score considering the scores in English, you can apply to the college. But, if the scores are mandatory to be taken into consideration while calculating the total score in your desired college. Then, unfortunately, you cannot.
