There is no official data for NIELIT Ajmer and Chennai placements. However, NIELIT conducts centralized placements through its dedicated online placements portal. Efforts are being made to facilitate suitable job offers to the students after their course completion. The students can register for free on NIELIT placements portal and submit their CV. The portal also facilitates prospective employers to examine and select resumes on specific needs and skill sets. Some of the top recruiters of NIELIT Chennai are BOSCH, HCL, VVNDN, Ashok Leyland while the recruiters of the Ajmer Campus are not known.

The list of courses offered at NIELIT Ajmer include certificate courses, UG Diploma courses and PG Diploma courses while NIELIT Chennai offers only PG Diploma and Certificate courses. This makes NIELIT Ajmer the obvious and better choice for UG Diploma courses. NIELIT Ajmer courses across the UG Diploma level range from a duration of 350 to 1598 hours. SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus is ranked #1 University in India and has consistent placement records every year with offers up to 42.5 Lakhs per annum. According to the reviews, the placements are very good, and around 70% of students got placed in this course. The infrastructure is top-notch, and the academics are outstanding. However, the campus is tiny and congested. Therefore, it is one of the best universities in Chennai, but whether it is the best or not is subjective and depends on individual preferences.

It depends on course you want to follow. Admission cutoff can go up and down in PG Diploma at National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Chennai. It depends on the number of applicants and other standards set by the institute. 70% is a competitive score that is basically above the minimum cutoff.
