NIELIT CHENNAI has different admission conditions for various courses in the PG Diploma. However, the general requirements are as follows:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

  • Minimum marks: Students should obtain at least 60-75 percent marks

  • Gate score: It could also mean a particular course requires a valid GATE score.

Yes, the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Chennai is indeed more expensive than NIELIT Delhi. Both have different fee structures and Delhi is less costly. You can also visit their website to check the fee structure according to the other courses. Moreover, the Shiksha website also helps you in this. You can check the all-important details for admission for both institutes. But, both are best for getting the degrees and taking your career forward.

NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology) Chennai considers various exam scores for course admission. The following are the minimum percentage scores required for admission. Here are the percentages of different courses

 

  • M.Tech in Electronics and Information Technology: GATE: 75%

  • M.Sc in Information Technology: GATE: 65%

  • M.Sc in Computer Science: GATE: 60%

  • M.Sc in Electronics and Communication Engineering: GATE: 55%

  • BCA: 80% in 10+2 (Maths & physics), 75% in 10+2 (Computer Science & Maths).

 

NIELIT Chennai also accepts the marks of national and state-level examinations like JEE Main, TANCET, and COMEDK.
