Both are college of same caliber. Fees is same for the colleges but IFMR is older than IMT. It is just the difference in location. Overall IMT Hyderabad can be preferred.
Placement wise IMT Hyderabad has shown better results in past few year but you can also opt for IFMR as both are equally good with almost same brand value. Also you can give preference to nearer one.

The highest packages offered during the JNTUH placements and Osmania University placements season 2022 were INR 44 LPA and INR 18.2 LPA, respectively. In total 13 companies visited Osmania University for the placement season 2022. Meanwhile, JNTUH campus recorded over 50 companies that participated during the placement drive. Hence, JNTUH offers better placements than Osmania University.

According to the latest placement report, the median package offered during BITS Goa placements was INR 30 LPA whereas the median package offered to B.Tech and M.Tech students was INR 16 LPA and INR 14 LPA during Netaji Subhas University of Technology Placements 2022. Moreover, both the colleges are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). When compared with B.Tech fees, the BITS Goa B.Tech fees is INR 19.94 Lacs whereas NSIT B.Tech fees is INR 3.22 Lacs.

Delhi University has been ranked 11 and Mumbai University is awarded a rank of 56 among the top Universities in India by NIRF 2023. Delhi University is a central university, whereas, Mumbai University is a state university. Delhi University is given a rating of 4/5 by thousands of verified Shiksha users. Thapar is at least 30 years older than SRM. In comparison to SRM, Thapar has a lower batch strength. Thapar selects students based on their JEE Main rank, resulting in a superior peer group. Thapar has a stronger placing track record.
