School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) New Delhi, is a premier institute of architecture established in the year of 1941. It is deemed to be a university having recognition as an institute of National importance. The institute is ranked 5th among the top Architecture colleges in India by NIRF 2023. SPA Bhopal was established in 2008 and it is ranked 11th among the top Architecture colleges in India by NIRF 2023. Both institutes offer undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels programmes in Architecture, Design and Planning streams, namely, BArch BPlan MArch, MPlan MDes and PhD. The most popular course of the institutes is BArch admissions to which is done on the basis of the candidates merit in JEE Mains Paper 2.

The University of Lucknow is awarded a rank band 101- 150, whereas Allahabad University is not ranked by NIRF 2023. Lucknow University has released its placements report for the academic year 2022-23. As per the report, the highest package and average package offered during placements 2023 stood at INR 23.61 LPA and INR 8.6 LPA, respectively. Further, the median package offered during Lucknow University placements 2023 was INR 14.40 LPA. The top recruiters of Lucknow University in 2023 were HCL, Skolar, Homefirst, Hexaware Technologies, Paytm, etc.

The University of Allahabad spreads over a campus area of 232 acres. It offers state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities. It includes a computer centre, a meditation centre which is known as Gandhi Bhawan, hostel accommodation, National Cadet Corps, National Service Scheme and an Athletic Association. Lucknow University spreads over 219.01 acres of land and has a yoga centre, child care centre, hostels, guest houses, canteens, health and medical centre, a big library, sports facilities (indoor and outdoor sports facilities), and others.
