As a new PGDM student at GIBS, the faculty will not only teach you new ideas and concepts but also help you get ready for placement opportunities. Your professors use a wide variety of like case studies, Live Projects, and simulation-based learning within the curriculum. These methods aid you to gain hands-on experience using the skills you taught during class to solve real-world business issues. To further prepare you for placement opportunities, the faculty at GIBS also routinely invite industry experts, alumni of GIBS, and Corporate Leaders to speak to you during guest lectures, and serve as mentors or panel participants during an industry panel discussion. By sharing the experience of being an industry leader, and providing insights into what the current trends are on recruitment practices and the skills that are needed in today's workplace. Furthermore, the faculty will assist you with building your resume, mapping your skills, practicing mock interviews and honing your presentation skills so that when the time comes for placement opportunities you will have developed the confidence and skills that you need to be successful and to meet the expectations of Recruiters.

For admission to the PGDM course at St. Wilfred's College of Management Studies, candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria and apply and appear for one of the entrance exams accepted by the college. The entrance exams accepted for the PGDM course include CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, MH-CET and ATMA, followed by GDPI round. Furthermore, the eligibility criteria for admission is that the candidate should have passed a Bachelor's degree with 50% aggregate from a recognised university. Fresh graduates as well as individuals with up to 5 years of work experience are eligible to apply. It is not difficult to get admission if the candidate fulfils these selection criteria.
