Satisfied with TU because of the facilities. Placements are average.

Placements: The top recruiting company is TCS. Internship companies include C-DAC, Coindex, etc. A good percentage of students get placed in my course, both on campus and off campus. I don't know the highest and lowest packages offered in my branch, but I think they are pretty good. The top roles in my branch are software and tech jobs.

Infrastructure: The hostel and department infrastructure is very good. We have campus connectivity (Wi-Fi) that is very good (not in all places) in hostels and departments. Hostels are very good at Tezpur University, and food quality is also good. I am from KMH (Kanchejungha Men's Hostel), which is very good. The daal of KMH is famous here, and the food quality is also better than other hostels. We have a library and a game room, too. Hostels are cleaned regularly, and bathrooms are also in good condition. And we also have aquagards and coolers for water in every wing and also in the mess. We also have a canteen, as does every hostel at Tezpur University. The university library is big and well-equipped for students needs, both in terms of available books and late-night studies (the library remains open till 3 a.m.). There are reading rooms as well as discussion rooms and computer centres with high-speed internet. There is a canteen in the library, too. Classrooms and labs are also good. In almost every class, we have projectors.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful. And the quality of the teaching is also good here. The course curriculum is relevant; it is the same taught in IITs and NITs, and yes, it makes the students industry-ready. The difficulty of the semester exams is above average, but it also depends more on the student, and the pass percentage is relative.

Other: I chose this branch (Electronics and Communication) because I like it. My earlier choices were computer science and electronics only. But in my branch, we have both software and hardware. We can sit in both software and computer science placements and also in electronics placements. And we have a lot of fests and events here at Tezpur University, such as Insignis, the annual meet, cultural night, Techxetra (the tech fest), the grand feast, inter- and intra-hostel and department fests and events, cultural events, and separate events from the MCJ department.

Our college has excellent faculty members and infrastructure.

Placements: In our college, many students are placed. Around 40% of students are placed. After the lockdown, placement statistics were affected, but for tech branch students, placements were good. The salary package offered is 8 LPA - 18 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 30 LPA - 40 LPA. A figure of this magnitude is generally earned by ECE or CSE students. Off-campus placements are better this year at Tezpur University. The salary package offered is 50 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, TCS, Intel, Oracle, etc., visit our campus.

Infrastructure: Our college has its buildings. Labs are well maintained. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Restrooms and classrooms are good. Lecture halls and seminar halls are maintained by the government. The hostel facilities are excellent. The atmosphere of our college is pleasant. Hostels are available.

Faculty: Our faculty members are good. B.Tech course is based on technical and industry knowledge. The course is direct as per the guidelines of AICTE under the Government of India which demonstrates the engineering course throughout India. There are 4 exams in a semester, 2 sessional, 1 midterm, and 1 end term, so students are engaged in their studies throughout the semester. The pass percentage is 45%.

Other: I have already decided to study engineering. I didn't get admission to any NIT or IIT, so this is the most suitable institute I opted. Students from all over the country and foreigners are in our college. Events are enjoyable. Campus life is good. There are many activities to relax, but the campus is located in a remote area. Still, you have bus connections from the university to Tezpur town without any fare for the students.

Our campus is really beautiful.

Placements: Our college provides good placements for CSE and ECE. The previous year, out of 42 students from ECE, 38 students registered for placement, and 28 students got placed with an average salary package of 4.93 LPA. The major hindrance in placement is the location of the university. Many MNCs like Wipro, Capgemini, and TCS visit our college. The placement scenario is expected to get better in coming years as this year companies like Hashed in, NetCracker, Hexaware, and Allegion are coming for placement. Many core students are interested in higher studies or preparing for GATE. Many students try off-campus and got placed with high salary packages.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is one of the best in the entire northeast. Our campus is full of natural beauty. Classrooms are well-maintained and equipped with fans and projectors. Our college provides us with sports facilities like a big playground, table tennis court, badminton court, volleyball court, health center, yoga center, etc. The overall infrastructure is like an NIT. The hostels are well-maintained and have Wi-Fi access. Single rooms are not provided to any B.Tech students. The food served in the mess is good. A canteen, a small badminton court, and a cycle stand are provided in every hostel.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified. Most of them are Ph.D. holders from any IITs or NITs or foreign universities. Our academic is a bit hectic and difficult. Students have to study from the beginning of the semester to get a good score.

Best college to enjoy and learn because of the great campus, it's full of greenery.

Placements: Placement is average here. You should not expect to get a 1cr+ package here. But you can definitely get a 22 LPA if you study well and maintain a good CGPA. The highest package went this year was 22 -25 LPA, and the average package went to 4-6 LPA. If you work hard, you will definitely get a good package. 80-90 percent of the students were placed in CSE and ECE branches. I am sorry, but placements in other branches are quite low. You will definitely get good, highly qualified teachers here. Some of the companies that visit here are TCS, Amazon, Intra and Infosys, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities are really good. Since this is a highly rated central University, you are sure that you will have access to the best facilities for your lab works and Class work, etc. You will get well-maintained classrooms. The library is too good. More than thousands of books are in the library. You can visit the library after you get the library card. Now, talking about food, we are given healthy food. You might feel the breakfast given here is not get good. But Lunch and Dinner are quite good. You can survive with the food given here.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and supportive. They will help you whenever you approach them. The course curriculum is very similar to NITs and thus is good for us. The exams are conducted with discipline. You will definitely love attending lectures, because of the great teachers here, who always will teach you in the most understandable way.

Other: I am a second-year student here for B.Tech (ECE). I am being here for one year and thus could talk about my university pretty well. I am connected with my very much supportive seniors, who tell me about their teachers, lab facilities etc. I have personally even visited each lab and the classrooms for each branch. I definitely love my college because of the beautiful green campus here. You will not regret being here for 4 years.

Review of Tezpur University - TEZU.

Placements: Placements are relatively good considering this is a tier-3 college. Almost 75% to 80% of students are placed in the 2022 batch. The lowest salary package offered is about 3 LPA and the highest is 35 LPA. Most service-based companies offer an average salary package of 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Amazon offered the highest salary package of 35 LPA. Core companies such as Alstom and L&T offer an average salary package of 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing. Every building is equipped with a Wi-Fi router, be it a cafeteria, hostel, library, department building, etc. The central library is one of the best parts. It is a great place to spend time with books and learning. Hostels are very clean, and the food provided in the hostel mess is good as well. The health center inside the campus is open 24X7 for any sort of medical emergency.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful. They are the best in their respective domains. The course allows you to opt for several electives according to your respective interests. There are several practicals and projects throughout the course in order to make us industry-ready. Semester exams are quite easy if you've attended the lectures. If you can arrange the notes one night before the exam and study thoroughly, you will pass.

Nice Campus, green environment, good education and average placements.

Placements: From our Batch, we are receiving a good amount of placements and campus recruitments than in previous years. Companies that have come are Wipro, TCS, Alstom, Allegion, Cognizant, Capgemini, Byjuys, L&T, etc. About 60% of our class are placed. Roles offered are Graduate Engineer Trainee, Junior Manager, etc.

Infrastructure: All the basic facilities are available such as Wi-Fi, Labs, Digital Classrooms, Library. Hostels are also available with basic facilities. Food is provided on the time and of average quality. We have competitions in sports like cricket, football, volleyball, etc.

Faculty: The curriculum is neatly planned and organized. Exams are conducted 4 times a semester. Teachers are well educated and teach well. The pass percentage is 40%. Exams are not too difficult and include box thinking sometimes. Labs are also well organised and well-equipped with the requirements.

It has good, helpful and cooperative teachers, but the schedule is hectic. Placements are average.

Placements: From the ECE branch, more than 90% of the students got placed. The lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 24 LPA. Top companies which visit here for placements are Wipro, Synopsys Ltd, Regalix, etc. Every student does an internship after their 6th semester. The internship cell handles wherever you want to do an internship.

Infrastructure: Our department is well-equipped in terms of infrastructure. The campus has a Wi-Fi facility, and the computer labs have high-speed Ethernet facility. In the hostel, the quality of the food served is not much good, but it is edible. There is a medical centre where checkup is free for all students. The canteen is always well stocked with snacks. There are ample opportunities to participate in sports and games.

Faculty: Teachers here are extremely helpful and qualified. Their teaching quality is above average, and the accent used by them is local, but not most of them. So, sometimes it gets a little difficult to understand what they say. The course curriculum is relevant. Students are benefited from the practicals.

Placements: In the branch of electronics and communication engineering more than 50% of the students gets placed every year. From The 2019 batch one student got the highest package of 8 Lacs and the average package offered every year is around 3.5 Lacs per annum. Some of the top recruiters are Wipro limited, TCS, synopsis india ltd, Regalix india ltd, etc. ECE branch has all. The top notch facilities like Labs and research halls, etc. From this year every student will be offered internship in their 3rd and 4th semester from the core companies.

Infrastructure: The university campus is full of greenery. It's a huge campus and it's always a fun to explore the campus. The campus is equipped with full campus Wi-Fi 24*7. We have all the different labs and has specific buildings for each and every department. Classrooms are clean and well-equipped with projectors and the lecture Hall are all air condition. The campus has a central library with is open till late night and has various reading rooms to sir and study. The university also has the e - library, computer centre, etc. The hostel has many indoor games facility, rooms are spacious and the best part is it has very friendly environment. The quality of facilities in hostel are top notch for a government University. The quality of food is also much better then the food of another hostels of different colleges. The canteens run overnight. The university also provides free Medical facility 24*7 in the campus health centre and it also provides free ambulance service 24*7. The university also provides free bus service to the tezpur town. The university has all the sports and each and every student gets a fair opportunity to take part in all of the sports.

Faculty: The teachers here have a good experience and are quite good qualified and educated, they are very helpful and have a different way of teaching which is very interesting. And the over all course is very relevant and sufficient to make a student industry ready.

Other: Since my childhood I had interest in this course that is the major reason for me choosing this course. The best thing is we get knowledge about the latest world technologies. At this stage of learning I am not that qualified to suggest improvement. The university life here is full of events, we have Tecxetra a tech fest for the school of engineering. The campus is well connected to the tezpur town. The campus surrounding is also good but not the best. The university also provides scholarship to the needy students. Every student here is involved in some or the other extra curriculum activities.
