The percentage required for admission to Tezpur University's B.Sc. programme depends on two factors:bWhether you belong to the Science stream or another stream (Arts, Commerce, etc.).  The university reserves seats for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), etc. 

Tezpur University requires a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the Class 12 board exams for admission to B.Sc. programs. There's a relaxation of 5% marks for reserved category candidates.

One of the most popular student majors at Assam University is computer Science and engineering. Assam University's BTech placement rates, however, are lower than those of other state and central universities. Nevertheless, compared to other disciplines offered under the BTech programme at Assam University, the CSE discipline in particular is significantly superior.

Applicants must sit the JEE-Main test to be considered for admission to the BTech programme in Computer Science Engineering (CSE). To be qualified for Assam University's counselling process, they must obtain a respectable rank.

The last date to apply for BTech admission at Tezpur University for the academic year 2024-25 was May 26th, 2024. Tezpur University conducts admissions for different programs throughout the year.
