All the students seeking admission to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programme offered at IIT Guwahati must apply for UCEED first, and then submit a duly filled application to the institute. Each candidate can attempt UCEED a maximum of two times in consecutive years, and the score of the entrance exam is valid only for one year. To apply for BDes, follow the step-wise application process for UCEED demonstrated in the infographic below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of UCEED.

Step 2: Click on the "Registration" button and then on "Registration Portal".

Step 3: Register using a valid email ID and enter the required details and submit them.

Step 4: Log in to the registered account to fill out the application form.

Step 5: Choose preferred exam cities (three) and upload the scanned documents.

Step 6: Payment of the application fee and submit the application.

To be considered for admission to UCEED 2025 participating institutes, the candidates need to meet the following conditions simultaneously: 

1. Age limit - The candidate needs to be born on or after October 1, 1999. For candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories, there is a relaxation of five years. 
2. UCEED 2025 qualification - The candidate must have qualified in the UCEED 2025 entrance exam and must have been allocated a merit rank.
3. Qualifying examination - The candidate must have passed all the subjects in the qualifying exam (10+2 or equivalent) in 2023 or should be appearing in the qualifying exam for the first time in 2025.

The fee for UG courses at Kaziranga University - KU varies depending on the course and the duration. According to the web search results, some of the UG courses and their fees are:

- Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech]: INR 1.1 Lakhs per year for 4 years. The fee for lateral entry is INR 1 Lacs per year for 3 years.

- Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA]: INR 60,000 per year for 3 years.

- Bachelor of Physiotherapy [BPT]: INR 90,000 per year for 4.5 years.

- Bachelor of Optometry [B.Optom]: INR 60,000 per year for 4 years.

Kaziranga University - KU accepts the following entrance exam scores for admission to various courses:

For B.Tech, the candidates must have qualified in JEE Main or any state entrance exam such as Assam CEE or KUEST

For MBA, the candidates must have a valid score in CAT2, MAT3, CMAT3, XAT3, or KUEST

For other courses, the admission is based on merit in the last qualifying exam or KUEST which is the Kaziranga University Entrance and Scholarship Test . KUEST is scheduled on 17th June, 2023 and offers upto 100% tuition fees waiver for eligible candidates4. You can register for KUEST online4 or visit the university campus or any of the registered offices of the university.

The cutoff marks for Kaziranga University - KU vary depending on the course and the entrance exam. Here are some of the cutoff marks for different courses and exams:

- For B.Tech admission, the Kaziranga University cutoff 2023 is the JEE Main qualifying cutoff. The previous year cutoff for JEE Main was 81-73.

- For MBA admission, the Kaziranga University MBA cutoff 2023 is the CAT qualifying cutoff. The previous year cutoff for CAT was 80 percentile.

- For B.Pharm and D.Pharm admission, the Kaziranga University cutoff 2023 is the NEET qualifying cutoff. The previous year cutoff for NEET was 50 percentile for general category and 40 percentile for reserved category.
