Tezpur University offers over 24 UG, PG, diploma, doctoral, and certificate programmes in various fields, such as Engineering, Arts, Science, and Commerce. Some of the popular courses of Tezpur University’s are BSc B.Ed integrated course, BTech, integrated MA, etc.

Candidates willing to take admission to BSc B.Ed integrated course at TU must have passed class 12 or SSC with a minimum of 60% aggregate and should take CUET-UG or TUEE which is conducted by Tezpur Univeristy (TU) itself.

Besides BSc B.Ed integrated course,  BTech is also one of the popular courses of TU, and the eligibility criteria for BTech is that the candidate should have passed class 12 or SSC and should have a minimum of 60% of aggregate. Also, candidates willing to take admission to BTech at Tezpur University should take JEE-Main or TUEE.

Applicants must have a valid scorecard/ rank in JEE-Main or in Tezpur University Entrance Examination (TUEE), which must be above the closing range mentioned in the merit list released by Tezpur University. After the release of the merit list, eligible applicants should register for the counselling process through the university’s official website, followed by document verification and fee payment.

Tezpur University (TU) intakes admission in its BSc programme through two mediums: CUET-UG and Tezpur University Entrance Examination (TUEE), which is TU's entrance exam. Candidates willing to take admission in any of the specialisations of BSc must need to take the examinations described above.

Tezpur University will release two merit lists on 3rd July 2023. The induction of candidates at Tezpur University is purely entrance based. Candidates interested in taking admission at Tezpur University score cards/ ranks must be within the range specified in the merit list. Furthermore, students will have to report to the admission cell of the university to complete the process of securing their seat by having the document verification and fees payment done.

Besides the courses in which admission is subjected to different criteria, candidates need to search for that particular course or specialisation from the official website of Tezpur University. 

The Institute has a dedicated Placement Cell which provides Placement Assistance to all the students enrolled in different programmes of the Institute. This includes placement after successfully completing their Masters's Programme and Concurrent field work after each semester. The Placement Officer acts as a catalyst in facilitating the process of interaction between the students and the prospective representatives of the concerned recruiting Houses. Both on-campus and off-campus interviews are arranged regularly. Several Multinationals and reputed National Firms belonging to different sectors have been regularly recruiting students from the NERIM Group of Institutions from time to time. Since its inception, more than 500 Corporate Houses have recruited students till date.
