The admission process is based on the CAT score cut off around 75 + ( General) of the candidate. The candidate should pass bachelors degree program from any stream with minimum 50% marks. You can also go for Tezpur University Entrance Exam (TUEE).

The entrance examination for LL.M is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of various universities. The exam is usually conducted in the month of May or June. The exact date of the exam is announced by NTA a few months in advance.

No, You can not join two programs simultaneously at Tezpur University. However during the course we have to do some open elective course in which we have to do classes of the subject which are offered by different departments.

The food is edible like any other institute you won't find the food to be like your home, but it is also not that bad. The mess is managed by the students only. Every hostel has their admin body which also consists of mess manager and mess convener who looks after the affairs of the mess. The monthly mess fees varies from hostel to hostel but it is always between 2300-2500. Students get food 3 times I. e Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Veg and Non Veg both options are available in every hostel. In nonveg students get Chicken, Egg Curry and Fish and in veg its mostly Paneer, Rajma or Soyabean. The mess menu gets changed every month. There are 2 sessional 1 Mid term and 1 End term in TU in one semister. If you miss any exam before the End term for a valid reason then you can appear again within the sem giving applications to the respective depts. And if you somehow miss the End term for some valid reasons then you will get a I grade that means you can appear again for the End term after giving applications.

It is around 2300-2500 and it fluctuates every month and varies according to the fees decided by the mess committee of every hostels. And the point to be noted is the hostel fees only includes the mess fees. TU hostels do not asks fees for staying or other factors alike the mess fees and the mess fees is decided after the net money spent per boarders per month for the food.
