For the SC category students under the AI quota, the JEE Advanced cutoff ranks varied between 183 and 2080 for core branches, including CSE, ECE, Civil, Chemical, etc. For the core branches, mostly the cutoffs are on the higher side for admission. Candidates seeking admission to core branches must target securing a cutoff rank of up to 2000 to improve their chances of admission at IIT Guwahati. The JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 for BTech admission ranged between 792 and 10727 in the final round for the general quota. For students belonging to the EWS category, the closing ranks were between 118 and 1661 for BTech admission in the last round. After looking at the cutoff range, it is evident that the EWS category had competitive cutoff ranks for admission as compared to the General category students. IIT Guwahati JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 ranged from 792 to 10727 for various BTech specialisations. This is the cutoff range during the last round for the students belonging to the General AI quota. Please be aware that the cutoff will be different for each category and round. As per the JEE Advanced cutoff 2025, BTech in Computer Science and Engineering was the most popular course among applicants and therefore the most competitive. Therefore, candidates aiming for top branches should secure a rank of 792 or lower to get the best chance of admission at IIT Guwahati.

Yes, Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences has been recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as a State Government University that is eligible to receive aid from the central government, and has been empowered to award degrees through its own departments and constituent/affiliated colleges. Furthermore, it has been recognised by the State legislature of Assam with the Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences Act, 2007.

Yes, the Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences is a government-owned university. It was established in 2009 by the State legislature of Assam with the Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences Act, 2007. Furthermore, Sankaradeva University Guwahati is the only Health Sciences University in the whole of the North-Eastern Region.

IIT Guwahati offers admission to various UG and PG course specialisations based on different national-level exams. For instance, BTech admission is based on JEE Advanced ranks. For BDes admission, UCEED ranks are considered. For MSc admission, the institute considers IIT JAM scores. The cutoff for these exams is released based on categories.

To obtain admission to BTech at Guwahati University, the candidate should pass Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. The relaxation is for reserved category students with 45% for SC and 40% for ST candidates. Also, a valid JEE Main or Assam CEE rank is required. Final admission is made through counselling organized by DTE Assam.
