21 students were placed out of 38 registered students during IIT Guwahati MA placements 2025. MA placement rate in 2025 was 55.26%. In 2024, the placement rate was 50%.

A total of 22 students were placed out of 54 students during IIT Guwahati MDes placements 2025. MDes placement rate in 2025 was 40.74%. In 2024, the placement percentage was 33.33%.

Median package recorded for some of the top M.Tech discplines such as Computer Science and Engineering and Communication Engineering in 2025 was 21.75 LPA and 22.1 LPA. In Signal Processing and Machine Learning and Materials Science and Technology, the median package was 22.1 LPA and 21.5 LPA.
