No, NALSAR University of Law does not grant admission without CLAT score. Hence, the course aspirants must take the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) and secure a valid score. CLAT is a pen and paper based test conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). After the entrance exam, cutoff marks are announced. Candidates who meet the cutoff criteria become eligible for participation in the CLAT counselling.
Candidates need to complete a minimum of Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC and ST categories) to apply for NALSAR University of Law BA LLB (Hons) programme. There is no age limit specified by the university for admission. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. Besides, aspirants must have qualified CLAT.
NALSAR University of Law follows Choice Based Credit System for BA LLB (Hons) programme. The elective and seminar courses are broadly part of these five groups:
- Constitutional and Public Policy
- Corporate Laws
- International Laws
- Social Science
NALSAR University of Law, don’t offer admission to BA LLB and LLM programmes without a valid CLAT score. Aspirants are offered seat in NALSAR University of Law top courses such as BA LLB (Hons) and LLM based on CLAT score. Candidates with a good rank in CLAT have a chance of getting admission in the university. Besides, the selection for BBA is based on IPMAT, JIPMAT or CLAT scores. Admission to MBA is based on CAT score. The university also conducts an entrance exam to select candidates for MBA. Selected aspirants are further called for a personal interview round for admission.

Let me first clear your misconception. This is a graduation course and eligibility is class 12th. Hence, issue of getting admission to their BA-LLB course based on another degree is misplaced.
