NIT Raipur is better than Silchar. It is better in placements for core branches as well as for CSE and IT. The placements always depends upon the location you are in and that's the main problem that NIT Silchar is having. NIT raipur is near to IIT Bhilai so there is a possibility that you would have exposure to companies coming to IIT. Hope it helps.

Yes, the company visits the college and has a good placement rate. At least 30 percent of the students get placed. With hundreds of corporate companies and a huge job market, Guwahati is one of the best cities to pursue an MBA degree. Hope it helps.
