Kaziranga University offers several scholarships to meritorious students based on the last qualifying exam. To avail of these schemes, students need to satisfy the eligibility criteria as specified by the university. The university conducts KUEST as an entrance and scholarship test. KU offers merit-based scholarships for deserving students to encourage them for further studies. Students are offered upto 100% of tuition fee waiver. Students seeking to get into the KU programmes via offline applications can either visit the official website of the university to download the form or the campus office to obtain the prescribed form along with the prospectus. Once students have obtained the form, they need to submit it along with the application fees of INR 1000 via demand draft drawn in favour of the university.

To get an entry into the MCA course at Kaziranga University, a candidate has to hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from any recognised university, wherein the candidate must have passed Mathematics as a subject in the 10+2 level or graduation. An application form is available in the university's official website both in online and offline ways, and candidates are subjected to the entrance examination by the university if necessary for getting admission.
