GRE and IELTS are both requirements for any form of study you wish to pursue. However, in case of a proper work opportunity, you would still require IELTS as the English Proficiency test. With the recent changes, the score barrier has gone up and certain people find it difficult to achieve the same. A better alterative would be to enroll in some form of study which would then allow you to scale up to a PR and a job opportunity in Canada. One of the interesting one's that I recently encountered is this Study & Work programme where you basically get to do a course while earning part-time and once you finish the course, you can work full time for about 6 months.

Hello Akhil, you have raised a very interesting query. Let me try to answer you. Even in India, to get transfer from one college to another college involves lots of issues. Equivalence of course between the two different universities if you wish to change college which is in the different university. Willingness of your present college to allow you to leave. This is very interesting since many private colleges simply refuse to take any action since they fear losing of the income if a student leaves their college. As you can SEE there are so many hurdles even within India you can imagine the hassles if you have to migrate to any university or institution in a different country altogether.
