SRM University -:
It was founded in 1985 as SRM Engineering College in Kattankulathur, under University of Madras. It is now (2017) called SRM institute of science and Technology.
It got the status of Deemed University in 2003-2004. In 2006 it got the recognition from UGC.
Further to this there was a scandal related to this college.
The founder chairman of the SRM Group of educational institutions, T. R. Pachamuthu, was arrested in Chennai on 26 August 2016 in connection with an alleged scandal in medical admissions involving crores of rupees. More than 100 complaints had been received from parents related to "transactions" involving pay

The minimum eligibility criteria for admission in M.Sc. in Clinical Nutrition from Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research is that candidate must completed his graduation with B.Sc. According to the conducting board of TNEA if you have studied from 8th to 12th in other states. You will be considered eligible if satisfy any of the below mentioned criteria.
1. If you are a student born and native to Tamilnadu but studied in other state, must provide a digitally signed Nativity certificate belonging to Tamil Nadu government.
2. If you are a student belonging from other state belonging to BC category.
3. If you are a student belonging from other state and your father is a Central Government Employee working in Tamilnadu and must provide a digitally signed Residence certificate.

The cutoff for mtech previous year was 22-23. You may give it a check on Shiksha's website to get detailed report. Unless you mention your marks I cant tell if you are having chances or not.
