Tumkur University MBA course is available with five specialisations. Candidates can choose the desired specialisation with the course. At the university, three MBA courses are offered - MBA (general), MBA in Business Analytics, and MBA in Training and Development. The course specialisations are:

Candidates with a valid bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate from a recognised university are eligible. In addition, the minimum aggregate requirement for SC/ST candidates is 45%. The aspirants are required to submit the pass certificates at the university as well. These documents are required for verification purposes. The applications of only the candidates who meet the eligibility criteria is treated as valid.

The university admit candidates to the PG-level programme based on entrance examination scores. Tumkur University accept scores of KCET/Karnataka PGCET/KMAT for selection. Candidates with a valid exam score can apply. Apart from this, it is also necessary that the aspirants meet the course-specific eligibility requirements. The eligible candidates can apply by completing the application formalities.

The National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences accepts valid INI CET scores, followed by a counselling process for admission to MD, DM and MCh courses. The INI CET 2025 cutoff for the January session has been released for Round 1, wherein the closing rank for M.Ch. in Neuro Surgery stood at 65 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. So, considering the NIMHANS INI CET cutoff 2025, candidates with a cutoff rank of 15 can easily get a seat at NIMHANS in MCh in Neuro Surgery course.
