Yes, Latvia is a safe country for international students. The country has the facility of asking for help from the police very easily. Also, the Latvian government also provides a very safe environment like they consider the pollution problems seriously. Latvia can be considered one of Europe's hidden gems for higher education due to its safe and welcoming cities and spectacular coastline.

The minimum wages made by students per hour is EUR 700. When it comes to work limit, UG students can work a max of 20 hours per week during the semester and 40 hours per week during breaks.
PG students can work any number of hours.
