Selection parameter and weightages:

Both are good. I think that for becoming a director, more than your qualification, your creativity matters. You should have a good sense of people's emotions, wants, and opinions. You should think out of the box.
As such, in my opinion, a certification course can give you many new opportunities.

Yes, you can get admission in COEP or VJTI through ladies quota, but you cannot get ECE or CSE in these colleges. You must have compromise with your branch, if you want to take admission in these colleges.

No, there is no second option or way to get into NMIMS for BBA without Maths as a subject in 12th standard.
* Have Maths either as additional subject (6th) or optional subject (5th). Better try for other colleges or universities.

Generally, it's good, rather safer to secure 60+% in B.Tech. But if at all you have already cleared the cut off of gate exam, then you must apply for IIT.
