Placements for B.Tech Automobile Engineering at LPU are usually quite good, especially for students who build solid technical, and also software abilities along with their main engineering know how. LPU gives exposure in a sort of hand on way, through industry projects internships, workshops and even some involvement in automotive, plus EV related events. Recruitment happens from more than just automobile and manufacturing firms, students can also be picked up by engineering services groups, design oriented companies, and technology focused organizations.

Now yes, across India, core automobile placements are competitive, but LPU benefits from a wider recruiter base and training support that lets students look into openings in areas like automotive, mechanical, production, quality and other connected fields. Still, the final placement results depend a lot on the individual, like their skills, the kind of projects they do, how their internships go, and how they perform overall through the entire program.

As per my knowledge, among LPU, Poornima University, and Amity University Noida, the overall best option for engineering (especially CSE) is usually considered Amity University Noida or LPU, while Poornima University is a tier below them.

Amity University Noida is located in the Delhi-NCR region, so it gets better industry exposure and more company visits. It also has a stronger national reputation compared to Poornima, and placements are relatively more stable for IT and management roles.

LPU is also a strong private university with a very large campus, modern facilities, and a high number of recruiters. It gives a lot of opportunities, but results depend heavily on students' skills because of the large batch size.

Poornima University is decent for learning and studies, but it has more limited national exposure and comparatively fewer high-end placement opportunities compared to LPU and Amity.

But if I had to choose one, I would definitely choose LPU for its good exposure to students.

LPU has managed to build a good reputation over the years and there are a few genuine reasons for that. First off, their placements are really solid — companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft and even international firms come for campus recruitment which is a big deal. The infrastructure is great for a private university. The LPUNEST scholarship programme also makes it affordable for deserving students which I think is underrated. Internationally they have tie-ups with foreign universities so students get exposure beyond just India. NBA and NAAC accreditation also adds credibility, plus they rank consistently in NIRF rankings which is the goverment's own ranking system so its hard to dismiss that. I think what really sets them appart though is how aggressively they update their curiculum. They're not stuck teaching outdated stuff which is a problem in alot of Indian colleges honestly. Its not perfect ofcourse, but it is a good university.
