For joining B.Tech at IKGPTU, a student must have passed his/her 10+2 examinations and have given JEE Mains Paper and scored decent marks, then only a person can get admission in this University otherwise no. However, only 10+2 is required for other courses in this University like BBA but not for B.Tech.

B.Tech at I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University is quite a popular course among the students. Since, it's one of the most demanding course, the salary package also remains above average for most of the students graduating from here. Companies like LG Electronics, Samsung Electronics, Infosys, Wipro, Larsen and Turbo etc. are some of the renowned ones who recruit their employees from this college usually with a good package.

The tuition fees for BSc courses at Gulzar Group of Institute is INR 93,000, and the tuition fees for BSc at Rayat Bahra University range from INR 60,000- to INR 5 lakh. I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University - PIT BATALA Campus usually completes their admission process in the months of March - June/July. The Admission is done on the basis of Counselling rounds. However, aspiring students must visit their website for the latest updates related to everything. As I am writing this in September 2024, the cutoffs have already been released.

I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University - PIT BATALA Campus is a Tier 2 college as per my opinion because the criteria for admission is quite lineant. A person can easily secure 45% aggregate in their 10+2 and they also accept low score in Competitive exams like JEE.

The Application Form Fee for pursuing B.Tech programme at I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University is 4,300 INR (Four Thousand and Three Hundred only as per the Indian Currency). The Students must pay this fee online through their website and can also come directly to the campus for offline procedure.

IKGPTU - PIT BATALA campus provides opportunities to minorities and lower income students who otherwise has the talent but cannot afford the expensive education. The institution aims to provide quality education to all the aspiring students who want to make a career in Engineering Technology and Management. It is established by the Government of Punjab. The on-campus facilities are on point, they offer a wide range of courses from B.Tech to BBA for UG students and from M.Tech to MBA for PG students. Their Placement packages are also quite good. Overall, yes it's a good college and the vision they work with is inspirational.

I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University - Mohali Campus offers two types of B.Tech courses namely B.Tech Civil Engineering and B.Tech Civil Engineering (Lateral Entry). So, for B.Tech Civil Engineering, the maximum number of seats they have is 60 in a campus. And the seats for B.Tech Civil Engineering (Lateral Entry) are as per the University's guidelines.
