Yes, probably in eligibility criteria, there is a requirement 50% marks, but you can also apply for BBA (because in this course there is importance of talent not for mark sheet percentage). So, you can apply for that and there is no entrance exam for BBA, you can directly get admission to your selected college where you want to study.

For getting into any business school, you must have appeared for CAT or MAT. For Top 20 B-Schools, 95% above marks is needed in CAT. So, choose accordingly. You must at least go with top 100 ranking institutes for a good placement.
I got into the Doon Business School Group, Dehradun with 93.5% in CAT. It is a decent college, and I am happy here.

If you have scored 70% marks or 7.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale in your BE and you have also cleared any one of the exams amongst GATE / UGC NET / CSIR / DST inspire fellowship then you can definitely go for PhD.

NIT-Jaipur or MNIT-Jaipur is in the list of top 5 NITs, so you really need to work hard for JEE Mains exam and if you are able to score between 175 to 250 marks or more you will get MNIT, 175 is the closing score for chemical engineering and 230 is for computer science, so work hard and give your best.

As per my experience, strictness and fun goes side by side here. If I talk about the strictness some rules for which Banasthali is known for some rules like wearing khadi or cotton kurtis are mandatory, but in hostels you can wear anything. There is a leave application system which is posted by your parents which you need to verify from your department and then get the gate pass to move out of the campus. Hostel food is good like on Tuesday and on festivals you'll get delicious food rest of the days depends. It'll be a little difficult to say anything about VIT because last year around 4,720 students were offered admissions at VIT University, Vellore and Chennai. Out of this number, 3600 seats were offered to students at VIT Vellore and the remaining 1,120 at VIT Chennai but only the first 20,000 rank holders are called for counselling. All major branches like CS EC, EE are likely to close at 9,000 in main campus and 15,000 in Chennai campus.

No, it is not mandatory to have commerce stream to apply for this course. This course is more like B.Com, but it does not contain the subjects in the depth and it is more related to management.
