No, KEA will not consider marks obtained in the qualifying exam while preparing the Karnataka PGCET merit list, also known as the rank list. Only the marks scored by a candidate in the Karnataka PGCET exam are used to allot a merit position. However, candidates will have to meet the minimum percentage requirement in their qualifying exam to be eligible for admission and for the merit list preparation. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility conditions are not included in the PGCET rank list.

No, candidates are not allowed to get admission into the BSc course without valid IMUCET scores. According to the official website of the college and other official sources, IMUCET scores are mandatory to get admission into Bachelors in Science courses at HIMT Chennai. Moreover, the college does not accept any other entrance examination score apart from IMU CET.

The eligibility requirements and admission process of both HIMT Chennai Kolkata and Coimbatore Marine College are almost the same. The basic requirement that candidates must fulfill is that applicants must complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream with an aggregate of 60% and a minimum of 50% marks in English in Class 10 & 12, and the IMUCET 2025 rank is mandatory.
